Directorbank sources a dynamic and strategic Chief Customer Officer to help Croft further scale its revenues and increase customer performance.

Croft is a fast-growing B2B managed service provider delivering Managed IT Services & Support, Cyber Security, Communications & Connectivity, and Business Mobile Services.

With 200 employees working from multiple locations across the UK, the business serves around 3,500 clients across the Enterprise, SMB, Education and Public Sectors. Revenues have reached c£40m.

With backing from Five Arrows, the alternative assets arm of Rothschild & Co, the business is looking to further scale the business, both organically and via acquisitions, driving towards revenues of £100m in the coming years.

The brief

Crucial to Croft’s growth plans, the leadership team sought a dynamic and strategic Chief Customer Officer to help drive sales and profitability goals. Directorbank’s James Searby was appointed to fill the position.

Having achieved success in a similar role, the ideal candidate would bring deep understanding of Managed Services and a track record of devising go-to-market strategy, leading high-performance teams and executing against ambitious sales plans. Customer-centric and data-driven, they would demonstrate experience of selling to SMBs and driving lead generation, customer retention and satisfaction through a culture of excellence and team collaboration.

The process & result

James conducted a full executive search process to identify potential candidates through a combination of research, referrals and network assessment. Lisa Healey was successfully appointed to the role.

Lisa is a highly experienced sales professional with deep MSP/IT services understanding and SMB-specific selling expertise. Driven, hands-on and influential, she brings a strong track record in shaping the sales agenda in fast-paced environments, building and developing high performance teams, and over-achieving new business and account growth targets.

Most recently Lisa was SMB Sales Director at Node4, a digital transformation specialist, and has held other notable sales leadership positions at Zen Internet, KCOM Group, Intercity Technology and Gage Networks.
