The brief

To drive further growth in its own business and supply chain sustainability more widely, Sedex has developed a clear and ambitious strategy and is making significant investment in its technology to deliver its goals.

To support this drive, Directorbank’s James Searby was appointed to recruit a deeply experienced CTO with a proven track record in technology and data operations and delivering product programmes.

The CTO will establish and deliver the technology vision for the company. They will be well versed in current technology trends, and their strong commercial acumen and ability to scale successful teams will help them innovate, create and deliver exciting solutions to help the business grow and meet its strategic targets.

The process

With support from our Head of Research, Faye Middleton, James conducted a full executive search process to utilise Directorbank’s network and numerous information tools, as well as fresh research into the ESG sector. Ultimately, Ross Heritage was successfully appointed to the role.
