The brief

Keysource appointed our Tech Sector Head, James Searby, to recruit a highly experienced, commercially-minded Finance Director to help them achieve further growth.

Candidates required demonstrable experience in the development and implementation of financial best practice, with a proven track record of leading high performing teams, working with stakeholders, and driving growth in comparable SME businesses.

The process

James, supported by our in-house research team, conducted a thorough search process to identify best-in-class finance professionals who have gone through a similar growth journey and whose values best align to the Keysource leadership team.

Their approach utilised Directorbank’s network of entrepreneurial, private equity experienced candidates as well as referrals from our PE investor network, and comprehensive mapping of industry and adjacent businesses to pinpoint several strong candidates.
