Elizabeth Jackson - Chief Executive

In July 2006 Elizabeth led a secondary buyout of Directorbank backed by Nova Capital Management Limited and Yorkshire Bank. She moved into the role of Chief Executive following completion of the deal having previously been the company's Managing Director. Prior to joining Directorbank, Elizabeth spent 10 years at PWC specialising in corporate finance and advising on management buyouts and corporate disposals.

Jonathan Hick - Founder and Director

A serial entrepreneur, Jonathan spent 14 years in the advertising business. At the age of 24 he was part of a management buy-in team which bought a northern advertising agency and over the years he has been involved in 5 start-ups, in promotional clothing, software, recruitment and fast food. He launched the fore-runner to Directorbank, the MBi Register, in January 1998 and following the secondary buyout in July 2006 is focussing his time on building relationships with clients and candidates.

John Pearce – Director

John joined Directorbank in 2005 from the financial recruitment specialist ECHM to head up and develop the Finance offering. He was appointed to the Board from 1st July 2006. John trained with Arthur Andersen and has over 16 years recruitment experience with organisations such as Michael Page, Hays and most recently ECHM. John is highly experienced in Advertised Selection and Search and has introduced Finance Directors to a wide variety of clients including FTSE 250 Plcs, private businesses and Private Equity backed businesses.

Neil Guilder – Finance and Operations Director

Neil is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management Accounts.
Since achieving his CIMA qualification, he has held Finance Director positions and gained experience working with fast growing SME companies operating within the safety critical software, risk management and career development market sectors. Along with developing strong strategic and operational skills, Neil has been instrumental in leading the growth of these companies, from a financial point of view, via organic and acquisitive means.

Neil is particularly interested in balancing the conformance and performance aspects of Directorship and he became a Chartered Director in 2002 and completed his second degree; an MA in Finance and Accounting, in 2003. Married with four daughters, Neil still maintains a semi-active interest in football, cricket and running.

David Wallis – Chairman

David is the Chairman of Denby Pottery, Chairman of Speedy Hire Plc and a Non-Executive Director of Robinson Healthcare. Until its sale to Bakkavor in May 2005, David was senior independent director at Geest plc. David has 30 years experience in retail chains and manufacturing operations. He founded Wallis Frozen Foods in 1979, which he sold in 1986 to Merchant Retail Group where he became Group Managing Director, retiring in 1998.

Simon Smith – Non-Executive Director

Simon is an Investment Director at Nova Capital and has been involved in investment management since 1987; where his experience unusually has covered quoted and unquoted companies. Before joining Nova in 2005, Simon was chief executive officer of Springboard plc, a listed venture capital company. Previously Simon had been a director of Albert E Sharp where he had been responsible for starting up and building its unit trust division and managing its highly successful UK Smaller Companies Unit Trust which had net assets of £330m. Simon is an associate of the Chartered Institute of Bankers and a Fellow of the Securities Institute.

George Heppenstall – Account Director

A graduate in Business Management George joined Directorbank in March 2007 from Search and Selection Group Imprint Plc. Responsible for running the Yorkshire financial recruitment specialists ECHM George has 10 years experience within the financial recruitment market handling assignments up to Board level for a diverse client base including FTSE 250 Plc’s, SME’s and privately owned businesses. George joins to focus on the continued development of Directorbank’s Finance Director practice.

Sally Moulsdale – Account Director

Sally joined Directorbank in autumn 2006 from an independent search firm where she launched and headed up the non-executive practice, working mainly with corporate plc clients and creating high-level networks, particularly in the retail, leisure and media sectors. With a background in journalism and later in sponsorship and development (US trained), she is joining the London office to promote and develop Directorbank’s fast-growing corporate practice and is also looking after a number of private equity clients.

Neil Holmes – Account Director

Neil joined Directorbank in August 2007 and brings over ten years of executive search experience gained with a major search firm. He has extensive experience of recruiting senior executives across a range of functions including Chief Executive, Finance, Audit, HR and Commercial as well as non-executives. Neil brings experience of leading searches within the infrastructure, finance and commercial sectors for a variety of clients ranging from small plc's and private firms to FTSE 100 plc's. He is a graduate in economics and initially trained as a Eurobond dealer.

Daniela Romano – International Account Director

With more than eight years experience in the industry, Daniela has a strong track record in recruiting senior positions across the finance, IT and executive sectors on a global basis. Her diverse background has seen her working for a leading recruitment PLC where she successfully developed the company’s enterprise resource planning division. She has also developed a start-up boutique recruitment firm in Sydney, Australia, a firm that gained a solid reputation with top global PLCs. Daniela speaks fluent Italian and German and can converse confidently in French and Danish.

Nicola Hall – Group Marketing Manager

A graduate in Business Management from the University of Newcastle upon Tyne, Nicky spent over four years as Marketing Manager for Foxtons, one of the UK’s leading property services companies, managing day-to-day marketing requirements as well as the launch activities of several London, Surrey and North American divisions. During this time, she also handled the marketing and rebrand initiatives of other group companies including Alexander Hall, a successful financial services firm. In 2005, Nicky relocated to the Middle East where she took up the position of Marketing Manager with Dubai Sports City, an ambitious sports-focused development. Here she was responsible for managing the marketing and PR activities of several prestigious residential, commercial and retail developments and sports-related projects. Nicky has recently joined Directorbank as Marketing Manager and will be responsible for handling the marketing initiatives of the company.

Kareen Rodger – Consultant, Scotland

A qualified accountant, Kareen spent 10 years in the audit department of Andersen (latterly Deloitte) rising to the position of Director, with particular responsibility for professional learning and development. Kareen opened Directorbank's Edinburgh office in September 2004 and has responsibility for both corporate and private equity clients in Scotland.

Samantha Piddington – Consultant, North West

Samantha trained as a chartered accountant with Coopers and Lybrand. She spent eight years in Corporate advisory, working predominantly in the North West for NatWest Markets, Hawkpoint Partners and Andersen. She worked on a number of public and private company transactions, including flotations and M&A. Samantha joined Directorbank in March 2005 to head North West operations. She focuses on the appointment of Chairman, Non-Executive Directors, Chief Executives and Finance Directors to public and privately owned businesses.

Jane Moran – Senior Account Manager

After a career in diverse domestic and international markets such as pharmaceuticals, fertilisers, building products and chemicals, Jane joined the Christian Salvesen group in 1990 and worked in marketing roles for their brick and oil pollution control subsidiaries. Jane joined Directorbank in June 1999 and looks after a number of the Company's pan-European private equity clients as well as working in the Corporate team.

Victoria Robson – Senior Account Manager

A graduate in History from Leicester University, Victoria joined Commercial Estate Agents, DTZ, in 1999. She moved to Directorbank in 2001 and has held her current position, managing a significant proportion of the Company's private equity client base since 2003.

Jan joined Directorbank in February 2002 and has held a variety of roles within the business including marketing and running the events programme. Kerry Gibbons – Marketing Event Manager

After studying French & Spanish at Hull University, Kerry spent 6 years as Marketing Event Manager with DePuy, the orthopaedic franchise of Johnson & Johnson, managing international conferences & exhibitions as well as e-business. Kerry joined Directorbank in September 2006 and is responsible for the company's events programme and marketing initiatives.
