Capital Base For Recruitment Firm

Directorbank, the Leeds online recruitment firm which provides senior executives for management buy-ins, is to open a London office on Monday.

The company's founder and chief executive officer, Jonathan Hick, said he had made the decision because nearly all of its business was based in the capital.

"We do all our work down there".

"We have 500 venture capital executives using Directorbank now and 97 per cent of them are based in London".

"I've been working in London one or two days a week for a few years no and this just formalises that".

But he stressed there was no question of the business permanently relocating.

"I'm too much of a Yorkshireman", said Mr Hick.

The London office will be headed by Mike Clancy, an assistant Director with Springboard, which owns a 44 per cent stake in Directorbank.
