How does Directorbank market my CV?
Your CV will be submitted in response to appropriate assignment requests from our Private Equity clients which are received on a regular basis. In addition, CVs for all newly registered candidates are automatically sent to clients who have expressed an interest in your type of experience. Ten particularly interesting CVs a month are emailed to all our clients and given prominence on our web site in our “CV Alertâ€. Your full details are also available through our web site to our subscribing clients.

How do clients use your candidates?
Our main focus is to undertake specific recruitment assignments on behalf of our clients. In addition, over 50 leading European private equity houses now subscribe for direct access to our database and conduct over 1,000 candidate searches per month - they are looking for candidates to:
- assist in identifying deal opportunities
- advise on sectors or companies
- conduct early stage due diligence
- advise on strategy/business plans
- lead or join a management team bidding to acquire a business

Subscribing clients can view full details on each candidate and so may contact you directly, in which case we encourage candidates to provide as much information and help as you can. The best chance to make an impression is when a VC needs your help!
A small number of candidates feel that full disclosure of their details through our web site is not appropriate. We are very happy to accommodate them by either limiting the personal information visible on our web site or by handling those candidates offline. Who pays for your services?
Registering as a candidate with Directorbank is free of charge. Our clients pay fees for recruitment assignments or subscribe for access to our candidates' information.
We do however ask that candidates keep us informed of any approaches made to you and any paid-for consultancy work or appointment that results. We also ask for your support in collecting fees due to us under our contractual terms. |
